Target Watches... Deja Vu?

 I am pretty much dying to have this Michele Urban Mini watch, but paying for law school tuition + working for FREE means that this watch isn't in my budget. Unfortunately, this "no watch" plan came to a halt when I realized that a watch is a major MUST for law firm interviews.  Therefore, I decided that I would just save or wait for this watch and not waste my money buying a cheaper watch in the meantime.  I get that people like sparkle, but every single watch had rhinestones alll ovveer them. There was not one plain watch sans rhinestones that didn't look like it was made for a grandmother. So, I can never seem to find a watch that I both (1) like and (2) can afford. There were hundreds of watches in that price range, but they were all horrible....

As viaduct comes down, opportunity rises

"Those buildings will go from feeling like they're on a back alley to feeling like they're on the waterfront," says Mickey Smith, whose firm, Martin Smith Inc. Reel owns the 120-year-old Washington Park Building, a four-story brick building on South Washington Street that stands just 30 feet east of the noisy elevated highway — literally in its shadow. But a few years after the viaduct comes down, Reel says, he could convert the building to apartments or condos, perhaps even add a couple penthouse stories. "I see it really transforming this area," Reel says of the viaduct's demise. The downtown stretch of the Alaskan Way Viaduct won't be torn down until 2016. The viaduct's eventual full demolition is prompting owners of many neighboring properties to ponder how they might capitalize once the hulking concrete barrier is gone. But Richard Reel already can smell the opportunities.

So with all of that, you know that I completely loved this book, hated my job (because I just wanted to finish the book), and will need to search for this author's other books to see if they're just as awesome. an insane asylum and old people's home (I don't actually know if I'm making this up anymore). Also featured in the book: a beautiful blind girl (having an affair nefarious piano teacher, of course). It's not that I don't like her. I just don't care either way, but our main letters that never reach their destination. I needed a couple of the characters fleshed out some more. , and letters that do. travels to and from Paris. and fun friends (I adore Fermin). For example, Bea. I'm not really feeling her. a sweet but seriously uninvolved father. prostitutes galore. an evil policeman/psychopath....
