The Game Of Redneck Life - Living The Life Of Riley....Bubba Joe Riley, That Is

I just played this game for the third time last night, and I have to tell you, that while it is a really, really dumb game when it comes to any meaningful, thoughtful mechanics, it's so damned funny to play that I have to admit that After ten minutes of conversation involving the merits of Kentucky Pillow Talk ("Git off me Paw, yer crushin' mah smokes") and other aspects of country life, I was offered a copy The Redneck Life to review. At Origins, I walked by a booth that had on display, for our amusement, a mullet-topped hilljack with a tobacco stain on his already pit-sweat stained wifebeater tank top. Turns out that no, he isn't a Kentucky resident, he was the spokesmodel for Gut Bustin' Games offerings, The Redneck Life, Trailer Park Wars, and O Gnome You Don't. This game had all of us involuntarily snort-laughing nearly the entire time....

I Am Still Around....Here is Some Proof.

Basically people ride from the marina to Garr ranch with lights on their bike. Emily and I were on Antelope Island when we ran into one of my favorite blogger / local photography Gurus David Foote ( Check out his blog ). He was out there for the annual Light The Night Bike Ride. One of the nights we made it to a rodeo. Those folks in Wyoming know rodeo. It's really cool to see. Emily and I had forgotten about this and so we stuck aroound with David and shot these. My flash was not working well and the light was really dark. This little town is really cool. The funny thing is the people on the nikes did ot see us in the bushes and would freak out when we moved. I was lucky enough to spend some time with family in Dubois Wyoming. The first photo here was taken at the end of the night....

JULY 2011 UPDATE

The weekend L&B were away, Danny, Owen & I took 3 hr naps that Sunday afternoon, got up around 6pm, so after dinner we went to Taylor's to play games till kind of late since O wouldn't go down for awhile anyway (can't do that with L&B who don't... Had a great time at my mom's family- Louis Tryon Family Reunion- first time camping as a whole family together and they all did great....

Summer Lovin'

I think the harp is the most beautiful instrument,  I hope one day I can have a pedal harp in my house to play. My mom came down to watch the concert with Lance, it was my 4th time playing in Harp Ensemble. The doctor suggested we go get a cat scan. Shari Pack is the harp ensemble teacher at BYUI. It was a lot of fun and Lance surprised me with  flowers at the end and my mom treated us to Dairy Queen. It still hurt a few days after the doctor’s office but eventually stopped. She has the biggest heart in the world and owns half the harps we use. Mittelschmerz, oh and the doctor saw a small cyst on my right ovary, which would either explode or dissolve....
